CheckIfItIsAI

Does Turnitin detect AI in PowerPoint?

Partly

It can read slide text, but slide text is too short and too fragmentary for the AI score to mean much.

How it works

The detector needs a few hundred continuous words to build a reliable estimate. Bullet fragments across slides do not give it that. Speaker notes, which are usually prose, are a different matter.

The part people miss

Short-input unreliability cuts both ways, false positives on slides are as likely as misses.

There is a right order to handle it in, and editing the document first destroys your best evidence.
